Because supporting United Way is the most effective way to ensure quality of life in our region.  United Way is the largest non-governmental funder of our community’s vital network of services, and the single largest source of unrestricted funds.  United Way does a thorough job of evaluating agency programs for fiscal accountability and measuring results, enabling partner agencies to leverage up to seven times more funding from public and private sources.

Because the need is tremendous.  The costs of housing, utilities, transportation and healthcare are skyrocketing while average pay and government funding for support services decreases.
